When the team at Upstate Handy took on a recent deck repair project in Boiling Springs, we thought we were in for a straightforward job. We planned to replace a few joists, decking boards, and railings. However, as we delved deeper into the demolition phase, we discovered severe dry rot that had affected the main posts, most of the joists, rim boards, and blocks. This unexpected discovery required a change in our plan of action. Our Deck restoration services had to be expanded to include a complete overhaul of the deck’s frame, main posts, all joists, rim boards, and blocks.
